Akehurst Landscape Service, a family business located in Joppa, MD, was contacted by representatives of the Presidential Inauguration Committe to install the Inaugural Tree for President Barack Obama. The tree planting ceremony took place on Monday, January 19th commemorating Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. A White Oak was provided by MOON Nurseries and planted at Mt.
